What makes an opponent worthy?

This is just a place to talk about how a opponent of rival is worthy. I believe that a strong rival is somone who pushes u. Somone who You love to fight but still want to kick his ass. No one so far has ever made me want to get stronger with such a passion. Passion in fighting is a beautiful thing. It's not about killing your opponent as fast as u can. Its about allowing him to feel your love. oh yeah did you know that love hurts.....

xD many people have called me weird...I'm just different thats all,and so is everyone...

In my opinion a rival is not somebody who makes you want to get stronger but rather somebody who is comparable to you in terms of skill but uses the weapon in a completely different way and opens your eyes to new styles.

In my opinion if somebody is strong enough to make you want to get stronger then you are most likely not nearly as good as them and they take on more of a role model position rather than that of a rival

And in my opinion, a rival is Exaz... YOU, ME, THE GAS STATION, 5 O' CLOCK D:< j/k..

What I really like in a fight is when I fight someone that has a totally different style than other people do, someone who's hard to get used to and someone who'd be able to kick my ass into oblivion.
I really love it when I'm on the edge of losing (Sadly doesn't happen very often) but it makes me heart beat crazy fast, i really love that feeling !

Yeh, I prefer to go up against people who outskill me (not that theres many of those ). It gives great satisfaction when you finally manage to beat them.

Well, my opinion is pretty straight forwards:Everybody who can kick my ass is my rival, period!
But to answer the question, Nyomu and Yoda(this is not his username, but i call him that cos he was my first sensei!) were the ones that made me want to be the best at swords!They ownd me so hard, i got angry at myself!

A rival for me? Well, theres an important thing i consider really lame and does not make somebody a "pro" or "skilled", is the waiters. And waiters have many tactics to take u down. You all know every melee weapons has their delays. So waiters can take this adventage to attack-critical u. Then ur screwed. I really hate that.

Or they just simply run away to burn your sp. And when you run out of it, you are jumping or w/e, they can use this moment to sneaky attack you too. Kinda annoying, i like facing my opponent face to face >_>.

Other thing i hate from is, when they are standing without doing anything, you attack them and they dodge in last second, countering you with criticals.

In other words, my rivals arent that kind of chickens that wait for your cool down to counter you. That persons that can take you down without being sneaky or a chiken.

Nah, lets put something clear, i never mentioned anything, but what i wanted to say, somebody that dodges you all the time, waiting to your sp baar to get drained, or waiting for your first attack to hit you when u're in cool down, THAT aint smart, or a good way to be claimed as somebody skilled.
