Well, i dont like at all anime, i prefer manga =0. Atm, my fav manga are:
1) Monster: What can i say? Naoki Urasawa is, so far, the best mangaka ever. Monster's story is just great, full of suspense and mystery, related with bible's quotes, talking about the arriving of the Antichrist. About the plot, i cant say so much about it: Dr. Tenma, a great doctor talking for a prestigious german hospital hospital decides to operate and save the life of a lil' child instead of a politician's one. This cost Dr. Tenma's his social standing, his employment and all. But right after this, other doctors in Tenma's way are mysteriously murdered. And Johan's body, the child saved my Tenma, dissapear from the hospital. And now on, i recommend you to buy it or dl, and keep reading it ...
2) 20th Century Boy: Another Naoki Urasawa's work, full of suspense too. A group of childs in year 1969. They all make a book called "Prophecy's books", and they wrote on it many catastrophes that will happens in a future. Years later when they grow and all, this catastrophes related in this book become true, and Kenji, the main character and his friends, try to discover why, and who's the one doing all that stuff.
3) Until Death Do Us Apart: Not a really great story, nice after all. In this manga, our main character, Haruka, can predict the furute. Beacause of that, yakuza and other corrupted groups try to kidnap her and use her for their own benefits. But soon she finds a strong, blind body guard, who's working for an unknown company. She asks him about protect her and all, "until death do us apart". Mamoru thinks since the beginning that all is a joke, but after they meet the yakuza groups, he decides to take her with him. A manga full of futuristic stuff and action. Not the great, but as i said, nice and entertaining.
4) Fairy Tail: Yeah, its a good shonen, good plot, epic moments and all. As pett0r said, the drawing style is smilar then Eichiro Oda's one. Tbh i prefer Hiro Mashima, Fairy Tail's auter, then Oda, since i read RAVE master, previous Mashima's manga, before One Piece (i cant stand this manga anymore, so bizarre and long. Lost the interest after Thriller Bark's arc). Not gonna talk about the story cause i feel lazy D:.
5) Yotsubato (Yotsuba): Who does not know Azumanga Daioh? Well, Yotsubato its like Azumanga's anime, but with other characters, different story, but similar random and funny moment xD. The manga is a must.
